Q: (Waist Tonic) Why is there a caution on liver damage?

A: It is due to one of the ingredient used in the waist tonic (Radix Polygoni Multiflori Praeparata) is prohibited for use for pregnant women, patient with liver dysfunction and liver damage. If consumed, it can cause serious side effect (related with liver damage), such as; abnormal liver biochemical indices, body weakness, loss of appetite, nausea, yellowish urine, yellowish eye and yellowish skin.

Dosage:
30ml to be taken twice a day before or after meals.

Precaution: Prohibit the use from pregnant lady, patient with liver dysfunction and liver damage.
Contraindication: Check the liver biochemical indice regularly when taking this product. Stop the medication immediately and seek for medical advice when found with the following symptoms which is possibly related with liver damage: the liver biochemical indices is abnormal, body becomes weaker, loss of apptetie, nausea, yellowish urine, yellowish eye, and yellowish skin.
