Breast milk is the best for babies. The World Health Organisation (WHO) and Health Promotion Board (HPB) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. Unnecessary introduction of bottle feeding or other food and drinks will have a negative impact on breastfeeding. At around six months of age, infants should receive nutritionally adequate and age-appropriate complementary foods while breastfeeding continues for up to two years of age or beyond. Consult your doctor before deciding to use infant formula or if you have difficulty breastfeeding. 
NAN Lactose Free is a food for special medical purposes, specially designed for children who are intolerant to lactose. NAN Lactose Free is suitable for use as sole source of nutrition from birth up to 6 months of age when lactose free elimination diet is required. After 6 months, babies start solids and that should replace 1-2 milk feeds. It is often recommended to gradually introduce cereals and progressively vegetables, fruit, meat and fish to baby's diet. 
Contra-indications: Do not use NAN Lactose Free in case of GALACTOSEMIA or GLUCOSE-GALACTOSE malabsorption. NAN Lactose Free contains traces of residual lactose which some experts consider to be high for such disease.
