Dawn is a business owner of Trium Fitness & DSL Fitness as well as a Health Coach.
With her husband job as a commander for the RSAF F15 squadron and currently stationed in the USA, Dawn has to play the role of both father and mother to her 4 children aged 3 - 12 years old.
Due to her husband’s job, they have lived overseas for years. She gave birth to her two older daughters in France and looked after them herself for four years when her husband was posted there. Dawn overcame post-natal depression twice while taking care of her very young children in France.
As a health coach, Dawn inspire fellow moms to keep themselves healthy and strong so that they can be a positive role model to their little ones. She believes that to support the family, it’s never easy when your health is at a low, not to mention the impact on the children who tend to pick up lifestyle habits from parents.
She advocates that to help children grow up as healthy individuals, these habits should start from home.
Dawn is no stranger to charity work. She has organized fund raising events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Guidedogs Association and JiakParBuay (feeding the needy elderly and delivering food to them).
Last year she organized a mass blindfold yoga class which was aimed at building awareness for the visually impaired in Singapore.
She still actively volunteers and conduct activities at the Muscular Dystrophy association and on an ongoing basis, she organizes community fitness events.
