The Golden Flower Sticky Rice (or North Glutinous Rice) is a specialty sticky rice of the North with large, round seeds, when cooked with sticky rice for a characteristic aroma and rich sweetness.

Sticky yellow flower is a famous traditional glutinous rice variety in plain and central provinces in the North, with seeds. Round rice, flexible, fragrant, especially should often use sticky rice, make nuggets, make cakes that use sticky rice, make soy sauce or brew wine.

Sticky yellow flowers are only planted in the season, about May to October lunar calendar. Glutinous rice is called golden flower sticky rice because when the rice blooms, the pollen is yellow, not as white as other ricees in Vietnamese soil.
