Tasting reviewEye:​ The spirit is an amber colored liquid upon first glance, but once poured displays itself in more of a copper once out in the open. Tilt the glass a slow twirl and a few tilts to reveal medium-sized droplets.Nose: ​When the cognac is distilled and aged, it begins to conjure the soft, luscious aroma of ripe peach. After several years in French fine-grained oak barrels, the spirit develops nutty notes and ages to produce a sweet, caramelized flavor of toasted almonds. The distillation on the lees is a complex process but it gives fruity and musky notes, with an aroma of jasmine.Palate: ​The palate gives a lengthy finish. The finish is toasted almonds, toffee, and stone fruits. A dry finish of baking spice.
